About this image

Holy to the Lord — the words inscribed on Aaron's golden crown now rest on the brow of the One who fulfills everything the earthly priesthood ever foreshadowed. This close portrait captures Jesus in full High Priestly regalia: the twelve-gemstone breastplate representing the twelve tribes of Israel, the white linen turban, and eyes that carry both sovereign authority and infinite compassion. Grounded in Exodus 28 and Hebrews 4:14–16, this piece of Adventist wall art is a devotional anchor for anyone who needs to be reminded that their High Priest can be touched with the feeling of our infirmities. Every stone on that breastplate bears a name — and yours is among them. This high-resolution SDA digital download is perfect for framed home display, church media presentations, or sanctuary doctrine teaching series. Carry this image of your Intercessor home — the One who bears your name before the Father.

Bible background: The Sanctuary

God told Moses, “Let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them,” and gave a pattern for the tabernacle in the wilderness: the courtyard with the altar of burnt offering and the laver, the Holy Place with the table of shewbread, the golden lampstand and the altar of incense, and the Most Holy Place with the ark of the covenant beneath the mercy seat.

Every piece of furniture and every service pointed to Jesus. The daily sacrifices showed the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world, and the yearly Day of Atonement pictured the final cleansing of sin. The book of Hebrews explains that Christ is now our High Priest, ministering in the heavenly sanctuary of which the earthly one was a copy.
